Imagination

I was talking today with someone who thinks that computer games are ruining the imagination of children. I played games from a very young age. But I can't use my experience even as an anecdote to persuade you that today's game's don't blunt imagination of the players. I haven't grown up with games that the kids have today. I had games like Elite..... And a lot of imagination was required playing that game. I imagined that I was Commander Jameson flying a Cobra MkIII and loved every minute of it.

No way the kids of today could spend seven hours straight playing Elite. I'm not even sure I could any more... ;)
